Five to ten years ago cell phones were mostly used for business and emergency uses only; technology has came a very long way in the last ten or so years as most every person over the age of 13 owns a cell phone for personal leisure. I was 16 when I got my first cell phone but the reason was because I had just purchased a car as well, if anything bad were to happen and I was in a bind somehow – a cell phone would be present for emergency use. For the most part my parents liked to worry about where I was at all hours of the day and night, my mom loved the idea of me carrying a cell phone. Many phones now in the 21st century are GPS capable in case a person went missing or the police needed to track someone down. I have lost a cell phone in the past and the wireless carrier was unable to pull up the tracking from the GPS because he said they are only allowed to distribute that information to management or any other authority figure.
My little sister is now 13 years old and is already on her third cell phone because she dropped the first in a swimming pool and the second fell out of her pocket only for my mother to run it over with the car. Needless to say people aren’t very careful with their phones and after even a short period of time they can get all scratched and hardly look new.
The only problem with purchasing a new phone is the amount of times it is dropped within the first month. my cell phone contract just recently came to a two year close, instead of renewing I went with another cell phone carrier so I could upgrade to the iPhone. Does the iphone 3g need a case?
There are so any cases for the iphone but none of them do it justice. Do you think I should get a plastic case or even a “invisible shield”. I think it looks best with nothing at all but is it too fragile? Do I need a case? Do most people have a case on theirs or do you just treat it like a normal cell phone?
