The 3G phone: its identity and its application
In short, 3G technology offers broadband Internet speeds for your wireless wide cell phone. This means that in addition to voice calls, e-mail and text messages, 3G phones will be able to Browse the Web, listen to music, watching videos on demand, play network games, including video conferencing from your phone. Combining mobile devices that combine the functions of several tools such as telephones, pagers, MP3 players, PDAs, cameras, recorders, PC gaming systems and a machine can take full advantage of 3G network capacity to transfer large amounts of data quickly between your phone and the Internet. Examples of these phones are the Motorola RAZR2, RIM Blackberry and Palm Treo. Not surprisingly, 3G cell phones are expensive, high-end multi-purpose devices.
Another very useful device that uses 3G network is a variety of PC cards and USB modems to connect a laptop to the network provider of mobile data.
